Controls Engineer SCADA

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering (Irvine, CA, hybrid) seeks a Controls Engineer SCADA to lead automation and controls projects from concept through commissioning. Design and implement SCADA/HMI/DCS/MES systems (Ignition and PlantPAx experience a plus), develop architectures and industrial networks, build historians/databases, implement Sepasoft MES where relevant, use VBA/.NET/SQL/Python and REST APIs for integrations, lead and mentor engineers, and travel up to ~35% to U.S. client sites. Requires bachelor's in engineering/CS or equivalent and 5+ years controls experience including Rockwell FactoryTalk/PlantPAx, Ignition, and SQL Server.
