Director, Automation & Controls Engineering

Divergent is hiring a Director, Automation & Controls Engineering in Torrance, California to lead the team building the automation backbone of its next generation of machines and factories. You will define and deliver controls, robotics, electrical, safety, and factory automation systems that turn complex manufacturing technology into reliable, scalable, and increasingly autonomous production. Lead engineers across PLC/SCADA, robotics, and electrical disciplines; set architecture and standards; and partner with manufacturing and product teams as a Tier 1 supplier to automotive OEMs and aerospace/defense customers.
