SCADA Developer

DMC is seeking an experienced SCADA Developer to design and deliver scalable industrial automation and data systems. Work hands-on with Ignition to build solutions that integrate with PLCs, historians, and enterprise systems, owning projects from concept through commissioning. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying industrial SCADA and automation systems across diverse industries; building scalable Ignition-based applications and architectures; integrating with PLCs, data historians, and enterprise systems; contributing across the full project lifecycle including concept, design, implementation, testing, and commissioning; and mentoring early-career engineers. Requirements include authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship, a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, minimum GPA 3.4, 3+ years relevant experience, Ignition or comparable SCADA platforms, PLC systems and industrial protocols such as EtherNet/IP, Modbus, and OPC UA, SCADA architecture/scripting/enterprise implementations, database integration (SQL Server, PostgreSQL), object-oriented and text-based programming, and customer-facing skills. Travel up to 20%. Hybrid role available across 13 DMC U.S. office locations (excluding Austin).
