Senior Automation Engineer

Flexware Innovation is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer in Fishers, Indiana. Analyze user requirements and process/mechanical equipment to design automation systems; develop design and functional specifications; interface hardware and software. Responsibilities include design reviews, standards/templates, network architecture, data structures, control schemes/alarms/HMI/reports, wiring, calibration/troubleshooting of sensing devices, HMI development, documentation, programming/simulation/testing/start-up, and safety/regulatory assessments. Requires bachelor’s in EE/CE or similar; HMI/SCADA experience (Rockwell, Ignition, Wonderware, Siemens, etc.); PLC proficiency (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.); panel design capability; mentoring skills.
