Siemens seeks a Senior Controls Engineer focused on Siemens PLCs for automotive production equipment commissioning in Tuscaloosa/Vance, Alabama. Develop, test, and commission PLC and HMI software using STEP 7, TIA Portal, and WinCC. Integrate control software with electrical and mechanical systems; plan and execute commissioning of components and complete automation systems at customer sites. Program assembly systems including conveyors and process equipment. Troubleshoot and optimize performance; integrate industrial safety systems, drives, motion-control equipment, and industrial networks. Prepare commissioning documentation and test reports; participate in acceptance testing; train customer personnel through handover.
