Software Engineer Level 3

Canary Labs is hiring a Software Engineer Level 3 in Martinsburg, PA (hybrid/full time) to lead design, development, and deployment of software applications and systems for the Canary industrial data historian platform. Write high-quality scalable code; perform advanced debugging and root-cause analysis; mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews; collaborate with cross-functional teams; drive architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy; ensure quality through rigorous testing; and stay current with emerging technologies. Qualifications: bachelor's or master's in computer science/software engineering or related field; 5+ years professional software development; proficiency in multiple languages such as C#, JavaScript, and C/C++ and frameworks; strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalability; experience with version control, CI/CD, and agile methods; excellent problem-solving and leadership abilities. Salary range USD 95,000-120,000.
