Application Engineer I/II

Festo Corporation (Seattle, WA) seeks an Application Engineer I/II to serve as technical partner to the sales organization for customer automation solutions in factory and process automation. Provide technical support to sales and customers on applications and production processes; assess commercial and technical feasibility of proposals; propose customer-specific solutions; create requirement specifications with customers; act as pre-sales interface between customer and Festo departments; deliver technical training and knowledge transfer; assist identification and winning of projects; may oversee installation and commissioning; troubleshoot system failures and recommend schematic redesigns in coordination with Festo Engineering. Travel required for training and customer sites. Requires bachelor's preferably in electrical, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience) and proficiency with Festo application tools and positioning drives.
